Biography

If you like to rock it up, step out and boogie down, or lay it back with some easy rollin' tunes, then jump off here at Bluesville Station.

The band are fired up and ready to roll with a swag of great music and entertainment to make you feel good and ease your worried mind.

From laid back afternoon blues, to roadhouse boogie, the boys dig to play and deliver.

With a wealth of live performing experience, Bluesville Station are touring with their own brand of blues power

performing at venues and festivals around the country.

Recent performances include the Gympie Muster, Agnes Water Blues n Roots Fest (2011, 2012), Brisbane Blues Festival (2010), Australian Blues Festival at Goulburn, Blues at Bridgetown festival 2011 and annual appearences on their home turf at Blues On Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.

The band have produced five independent albums since they first started jamming in a tool shed in the back hills of Mudgeeraba in Queensland's Southeast in 1998. With over 40 original songs their sound is often heard on blues radio shows around Australia with their latest recording 'Snakebit n Boogie'(2011) receiving great reviews and high rankings on the national Blues Radio Charts.

Their orignal live sets features killer tone guitar duets, big hit drums, ballsy bass, blues harp and gutsy vocal harmonies to sweeten the ride. 

With a dedicated and loyal fan base built up over the last decade, the band are constantly writting and rehearsing new material for their live shows and recordings.

'Ridin' The Warrego' was recorded and released in 2008 and remains a favourite with digital downloads worlwide.

The title track from the album 'Keep On Rollin' was used in a major media campaign for train travel throughout the state of Utah in the US in 2009 with two tracks being added to an independent film due out in 2012.

Castlemaine Sessions released in 2009 features the crowd pleasers 'Why Me', and E minor spanglish twister 'No Tengo Dinero'.

With Paul Holmberg on drums and backing vocals, Mark Buhmann playing electric guitar, Scott Dymock on bass, and Brad Palmer on lead vocals, blues harp and guitar, the band play through the Castlemaine swamp, on the beach and out on the Warrego Highway with tales of travel, fast cars and fiesty women.

.Nip Me In the Bud, Goin' to Johanna, You're Right On, I Been Thinkin', Castlemaine Drain, Travellin' Time, Camp of the Moon, No Tengo Dinero, Nothin' On You, The Blues Alone, Why Me, Tales From the Squealin' Pig and 'Scream Mamma' are some of the band's  favorite live tracks.

Classic rock / blues songs from artists including, Neil Young, Clapton, Creedence, Johnny Winter, Muddy Waters, Canned Heat are also covered in the bands live sets.
